Actor Christian Sancho, in an exclusive interview with the Argentine News Agency after the closing of the show "Royal Gauchos", opened up about his professional and personal life with his wife, Celeste Muriega. He joked about future fatherhood, saying, "To expect a child, you have to call the stork to Paris." Sancho debunked the myth that working as a couple is exhausting. "I've had great partners, but with her I achieve an extra: a share of love on stage that is glorious," he confessed. The actor highlighted how "Royal Gauchos" allows them to connect in a family show, held in the place where their love story began. When asked how they preserve their intimacy amidst a busy schedule that includes theater, streaming, social media, and tours, Sancho responded with humor: "There is no intimacy." He also cast doubt on his continued participation in the show due to new work commitments. "Working with Celes is what I feel as happiness. However, he denied that this is the reason for his departure. "I did it as if it were the last time because I never know what can happen. I have other obligations, such as the play 'A Special Class' in Mar del Plata, which will likely start a tour," he explained. While he expressed his desire to continue, he was realistic: "It is very likely that there will be other obligations and that this may have been one of the last." Sancho concluded with a reflection on the artistic dedication of "Royal Gauchos": "When one puts on a show of this scenic magnitude and so much talent, one lives it with a different emotion. For us, working is a privilege, not a boring obligation. I am very grateful to share the stage, the trips, and the meals. There are people who say that working with a partner is a bad time; I say the opposite, as long as there is respect and the same share of love as in the first glance," he confessed. One of the striking moments of the performance covered by NA was when Sancho mentioned on stage that yesterday's could have been his last show. "I hope it was not a definitive farewell, but I enjoyed it with that intensity." In September of last year, the actor suffered a case of emotional and physical exhaustion that led to hospitalization. "We have a lot of intimacy when we want to and can."
